The pages, and what each is for

• Operations dashboard — one glance at everything written here. Read-only.
• Watch log — write what you saw: time, area, people, direction and the level you choose.
• Watch review — counts, repeated words, stretches with no entry, and a hand-over pack.
• Drone log — written flight records and the drones you own.
• Your own map — place points yourself and set the plan width so distances add up.
• Video review — step through your own footage and write notes against the moments you choose.
• Unit plans — write the kit you want and tick off the work.
• Device hand-off — make one protected file and open it on another device.

Where your records live

In this browser, on this device, and nowhere else. They are not uploaded, backed up for you, or shared between devices. Signing in elsewhere does not bring them along. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or a different browser on the same machine all mean different records.

So: download a copy whenever the entries matter. The combined pack on the dashboard is the quickest way, and a hand-off file is the way to move them somewhere else.

What a fingerprint does and does not prove

A fingerprint is a long string worked out from the exact text of a record or file. Change one character and the string changes completely, so if you keep the fingerprint you can tell whether a copy was altered afterwards.

• • It does not say who wrote the record, or when.
• • It does not stop anyone editing the record.
• • It is not a legal seal, not court-ready and not certified by anyone.
• • It only helps if you kept the original fingerprint somewhere separate.

Moving records between devices

1. 1. On the device holding the records, open Device hand-off and tick what to include.
2. 2. Type a passphrase and download the file.
3. 3. Carry the file yourself — cable, drive, email, chat. Lucas never sends it.
4. 4. On the other device, open Device hand-off, choose the file and type the passphrase.
5. 5. Read what it would add, then accept. Records already there are left alone.

If you lose the passphrase

The file cannot be opened. There is no reset, no recovery code and no way for Lucas to help — that is the point of scrambling it. Keep the passphrase somewhere separate from the file, and keep a second copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

When storage is full

Each log has a limit — 300 watch entries, 200 flights, 200 notes per video, 120 map points, 100 unit plans. When a page says it is full, download the combined pack first, then delete the entries you no longer need on that page. If saving fails silently, your browser storage is full or blocked: entries stay on screen for the session but will be gone when you reload, so download before closing the tab.

If something looks wrong

• • Entries missing — check you are on the same browser and device, and not in private browsing.
• • A page will not save — storage is full or blocked; free space, then re-enter.
• • A hand-off file will not open — the passphrase is wrong, or the file was edited after it was made.
• • A download does nothing — your browser blocked it; allow downloads for this site and try again.

What Lucas does not do here

No cameras, radar, infrared, laser scanning or any other sensor. No recognition of people, no judgement of what anyone intends, no prediction and no automatic alerts. No pairing with watches, drones, cameras or other vehicles, and no syncing between devices. Nothing here is tamper-proof, court-ready or certified.
