Worth knowing
- • The file moves because you move it — by cable, drive, email or chat. Lucas does not look for nearby devices, does not pair with watches, drones or cameras, and never sends anything by itself.
- • The file is scrambled with the passphrase you type (AES-256-GCM, 250,000 rounds). Lose the passphrase and the file cannot be recovered by anyone, including Lucas.
- • Opening a file shows you what it holds first. Nothing is written until you accept.
- • Accepting adds records that are new to this device. Your existing records, your plan width and your plan picture are left as they are.
- • The fingerprint shows whether a file changed after it was made. It is not a legal seal and not certified evidence.
